Whidbey Island Dive Center Staff

The WIDC Staff is comprised of highly trained and enthusiastic dive professionals, whose primary goal is to help you become a confident, competent and comfortable diver. This is achieved through an emphasis on education, skills development, increasing experience and the right equipment.

Instructors - WIDC staff instructors are qualified to teach and certify new open water divers, as well as Dive Control Specialists, Divemasters and Dive Guides.

Dive Control Specialists - DCS can teach scuba diving lecture and pool classes. By assisting an instructor the DCS can gain experience in preparation to become an instructor.

Divemasters - Divemasters can lead and guide certified divers on scuba diving adventures, as well as assist with classroom and pool instruction.

Dive Guides - Dive Guides are qualified to lead certified divers on a variety of scuba diving adventures.
